Courtney is an award winning stylist and recently competed in the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Skills Competition held in March of 2007 where she was awarded 1st place (Gold Medal) for hairstyling (post secondary) for the province. Courtney then went on to enter the Nationals which were held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where after 2-days of intense competition against 17 competitors Courtney was awarded 1st Place gold medal for Hairstyling (post secondary) for all of Canada!
