Our Policies 

Cancellation & No Show Policy 

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. While reminders are sent 24-48hrs in advance, this is a complimentary service and ultimately it is the client’s responsibility to remember their appointment and to be on time for said appointment(s). If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a cancellation or rebooking fee. A No Show is considered cancelling 2 hours or less before your scheduled appointment or not attending your appointment without adequate notice. 

Cancellation/No Show Fees:

45min+ appointment - $50

30min or less appointment - $25

Less than $25 service - Fee is the cost of the service 

To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Product Sales/ Exchange Policy

If you purchase a product from our salon you have 30 days to exchange it if you are not satisfied, the product must be 75% full or more in order to exchange for something of equal or greater value. After the 30 days we will no longer exchange any products. 

Final sale applies to Hot Tools, Brushes/Combs/Clips/Hair Accessories, Earrings, Dermalogica, Extensions.

If you purchased a product from us that is damaged/defective - please let us know within the 30 days and we will try our best to replace it. If it is past the 30 days - this will be up to the manufacturers discretion. 

Color Corrections

A “color correction” is a service designed to change a hair color that had undesirable results, or a big change that requires a larger service. These services will require a waiver to be signed stating that you understand the process. Color corrections can take multiple appointments when it comes to achieving your desired results and maintaining the integrity of your hair.

A consultation is required when you are seeking a color correction, and a patch test may need to be performed in order to continue on with your service. Once you have met with a stylist and agree on a plan, we will get you booked in for your appointment.

Perms

A perm is a chemical curling treatment for your hair. The curl-perm process adds body and volume to flat or straight hair, giving it more volume and making it easier to style. There will be a waiver to sign stating that you understand the process and after care for maintaining your newly permed hair.​ New perm clients will be required to have a consultation with one of our perming specialists, before the actual service.

Smoothing Systems

Kerasilk Control De-Frizz Service including the high-performing KeraShapeTechnology controls frizz and beautifies the hair's natural shape for a long-lasting transformation into smooth and perfectly frizz-controlled hair for up to 4-6 weeks. You will be required to sign a waiver stating that you understand the service, pricing and after care maintenance.  

Clients will be required to have a consultation with one of our Kerasilk specialists, before the actual service. A

Extension Installation

New clients and/or first-time extension clients will be required to have a consultation with an extension technician, prior to their installation appointment. Extensions purchase outside of The Signature Salon cannot be guaranteed. A waiver will be required for first time clients and/or clients bringing their own extension to have installed.

Gift Certificates & Coupons Policy

All Gift Certificates & coupons are to be physically presented at time of use. They cannot be returned, refunded or redeemed for cash or other gift certificates. The Signature Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates / coupons, and is not able to reissue them to you. Our gift certificates do not expire. Our coupons are valid for a specific period of time.
